Debbie Fazio has spent a lifetime living her purpose!
Since her twenties, Debbie has believed deeply in the greatness within people and in the power of making brave decisions while being willing to fail, learn, and grow. She has always understood that every opportunity is worth considering, because you never know what that opportunity may lead to next.
Debbie married her childhood sweetheart, Joe, in 1998, and together they raised three strong, intelligent, and compassionate daughters: Emily, and twins Natalie and Ashley. Emily who is a Registered Social Worker, Natalie who is pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, and Ashley who is working toward her Law degree. Throughout their lives, Debbie’s family had a front-row seat to her unwavering commitment to serving others. From an early age, they learned that living one’s purpose is not defined by a job title, but by the heart and intention behind the work.
Debbie’s professional journey reflects this belief. From supporting grieving families during her years as a Funeral Director, to planning weddings and celebrations, to coaching new and expecting parents, to guiding individuals through personal and professional growth and self-discovery, Debbie has continuously found ways to serve. She has built programs that uplift and empower young girls, developed college-level courses that support professional advancement, and worked behind the scenes helping businesses thrive. Her life is a powerful example of the idea that it is not what you do, but who you are, that truly matters.
At the core of everything what Debbie does is a clear and enduring purpose: to support others! That is who she is. Whether helping plan a funeral or a wedding, coaching a parent on newborn care, teaching new skills for employment, or supporting someone on life or career path, the “what” has always been simply a tool—one of many ways she lives her purpose.
Debbie also understands that life’s struggles help shape who we become. Through mentorship, coaching, collaboration, and connection, she has supported countless individuals and families through loss, relationships, business challenges, and personal growth. She continues to build meaningful partnerships with other professionals who share her commitment to helping others succeed.
A lifelong learner, Debbie recently graduated from the Social Service Worker program at Mohawk College and is now working toward her Honours Bachelor of Social Work degree — a powerful reminder that it is truly never too late to follow your calling, invest in yourself, and step into new chapters of purpose-driven work.
For over 25 years, Debbie has successfully run multiple businesses, guided by her belief in the power of the universe and the idea that anything is possible with determination, grit, imagination, and heart. Debbie is the Co-Founder, Director and one of the educators for the Perinatal Support Worker Program. The Perinatal Support Worker (PNSW) is a professional educator and caregiver for new and expecting parents during the period from conception through the first year of a newborn's life. This program is the very first of its kind in North America and is exclusive for PSWs. A comprehensive program taught in a college setting with incredible faculty is just a small piece of why this program is creating a huge buzz. |
